"Garrison dropping purchase of Pendragon" Topic

As you may know, I bought the Pendragon range of Fantasy figures from Amazon Miniatures back in January.

I still haven't got the moulds, I still can't get in touch with Paul, and I'm giving it up as a bad job.

I've therefore withdrawn from the purchase on the grounds that Amazon have proved unable to complete the contract which specified they were responsible for delivery.

I know that a number of people were interested in getting some Pendragon figures; sorry we won't be able to supply them.

There is another issue (actually, a couple) in that I was also buying a spincaster off Amazon that would have enabled me to use the old 12" moulds; this has also gone so apologies for people I have said things like 'when I get the 'new' spincaster' I will be able to send…. to.

Please note that there are also problems with the galleries on the Garrison site at the moment….same people host it, and I'm not getting replies re 'help sort it'….

No offense, I'd be talking to a lawyer by now (and I know how expensive that is).

What a shame – I like the Pendragon figures, and clearly you've wasted some time on this.

Has caused problems. Basically, Garrison is a hobby. I don't advertise,have a very low sales volume and I'm happy if I generate enough income to get new moulds made.

Anticipating Pendragon, this year I stopped getting new moulds made, partly because the money had been allocated to the purchase, plus part of the deal was taking over Amazon's old 12" spincaster which meant I would have been able to access the 12" Garrison moulds as well as the 9" ones I currently use.

So yes, it has been a bit of a pain.

No, payment was on delivery.
