After seeing the previous post abt building #1 I thought I would put up some pics of #3 along with a review. When I first stumbled across Bluemoon I was surprised at the low prices for most of the buildings. I thought "how good could they be for so little $$". Well, for the most part I was very happy when I got this. There is enough detail on the outside to be interesting but with enough 'blank' areas to offer plenty of opportunity for customization. The only detractor to me was the utter lack of detail on the inside. None, nothing, not even the door! I can only guess there must be a manufacturing reason for this omission. I built a door, windows, laid a tile floor and raided the bits box for the rest of the details. the furniture is from Khurusan and shapeways. The Khurusan Cryo Pods are great! The whole building was painted to go with an abandoned colony set up I have. Any and all comments welcome!!!

Nice job. As a customer, I think I prefer blank interiors myself, easier to dress up to suit my needs that way. As a (dormant) manufacturer, I found detailed interiors sold better, though, so what do I know? :) Empty box style is easier to cast, though. |

Nice job, do you you use dip or heavy brown washing on the furnitures etc.? |

The furniture is Majic Washed with either Army Painter or one of a couple of home bru washes of my own. Chief- I agree with you, definitely. still, I would have appreciated not having to build the door! lol |

On buildings that have accessible interiors I do like it if features such as doors that are visible on he outside are molded on the inside as well. Beyond that I don't mind a plain surface. |
