Hi,

Got a post-game reflection on my first Bloodbowl game up on the blog. I doubt it'll be the last.

i agree with your comments that there is more thinking involved than people first think.
what i dislike is the time segments. this leads to times where you have no chance of scoring. or a player with a stronger team refuses to score.
to stop this i play with no time segments. gmaes go on until one side scores 2.

I remember Bloodbowl fondly. My Wood Elf team could come up with some good scores, but in a league attrition wore them down faster than other strength teams.

Looked fun.

That pitch is awesome- how did he make it?

Some of the photos are quite close in, and there doesn't seem to be any real texture, just printed. As such, I suspect Photoshop and a decent color printer followed by clear contact paper.

According to my opponent, he got it via FF Fields. ff-fields.com

Well alright, then. Those look very cool.

BloodBowl is a topnotch thinking/tactical game. And amazingly fun. Best product that GW ever came out with!

I've always thought that, too!

Thanks for that link, Firey. They make some excellent looking mats and I'll have to get at least one.

@ nazrat – My pleasure!
