I'm hoping that the gestalt mind of TMP can assist me in identifying a Mage Knight figure that I have, but cannot identify. I've tried looking at Troll and Toad and Miniature Trading, to see if the miniature is in their galleries, but no luck. The figure is a tall, slender wraith-like figure in a hooded robe, with a metal mask and large scissor-like fingers. Unfortunately, as I'm at work, I can't post a picture, but it is quite distinctive. Any help naming this figure would be appreciated. |

What pose is the figure in and how big is it? What color is the robe- if it's not a rarity color, and is the figure human or machine or monster? |

Tormeted Soul, maybe? link Or more likely, the Solonavi Shade: link |

I was also going to say the Solonavi Shade, from the MK 2.0 "Sorcery" expansion. Nice mini, I have several de-based and set aside for future projects. |

It is indeed the Solonavi Shade. I tried searching using the keywords Ghost, Spirit, Spectre and Wraith, as I was sure it was something like that, but forgot to try Shade. Tnaks very much, Chief Lackey Rich! I have two of these and am repainting/repurposing one of them into the Red-Robed Scissor Man, with, unsurprisingly, a red robe and brass scissor hands, mask and buckles. My Muskets & Monsters players will have to try and prevent him from snipping the thumbs off incautious children, which should prove to be a rather interesting evening
(NB: Muskets & Monsters is not a published ruleset, if you're wondering, it's just what I call my home-brew tricorne era dark fantasy rules. If you imagine an 18th Century world populated with creatures from cautionary and fairy tales, with highwaymen and pirates thrown in, you'll get the general gist. Think Sleepy Hollow, the Brothers Grimm, Pirates of the Caribbean and Brotherhood of the Wolf all mixed together.) |

I have a repaint I'm fond of. It is done in the same scheme as my Cryx stuff. I'll try to remember to post a photo. |
