Can't say enough good things about this website…. if you play Flames of War and haven't ponied up the couple dollars to use this site – you are insane.

Lewisgunner14 Sep 2012 1:52 a.m. PST

Yes, it is a brilliant site.
Would ne nice to have some Japanese lists up??

CptKremmen17 Sep 2012 4:47 a.m. PST

The lists are battlefront lists

There are no Japanese battlefront lists…..

Lewisgunner17 Sep 2012 6:33 a.m. PST

Oh, Are the Dutch lists BF lists then?/ Which book???
Roy

Admiral Yi Sun Sin is my Homie17 Sep 2012 11:27 a.m. PST

Not all BF lists are in books. The Dutch list is an under review PDF on their web site.

Lewisgunner – I am not trying to be "funny" or annoy you! I was trying to be helpful.

Easyarmy.com (which is a superb site) only add lists from battlefront, including the pdf's.

I would be interested in Japanese and US marine lists as well but it won't happen until Battlefront make the lists and as FOW is a tank heavy game and there were few tanks in the pacific, Battlefront have I believe made it clear that it will be a "long time" before they get to the pacific.

Kremmen

I didn't think that you were trying to be 'funny' don't be paranoid!!
I just was not aware that there were official BF Dutch lists. I have a Dutch army using BF Romanians, True North , PP and Irregular (for guns) .
If Easy Army was into doing non BF lists I'd be happy to see Japanese.
BTW QRF just made KNIL for Dutch East Indies. I don't suppose there's a list for them yet??

poiter5018 Sep 2012 6:03 p.m. PST

The Yahoo group FOW Pacific has a number of home made lists for the 41-45 SE Asian conflict.

Lewisgunner19 Sep 2012 2:12 a.m. PST

Thanks for the link Admiral. I get the BF feeds but missed that one. MNost useful, though their mix of artillery is a bit strange and so is the complicated reasoning behind using the B/F models. If you want an 8staal just get a Franco Prossian or colonial gun.

17. SS Panzergrenadierdivision (Götz von Berlichingen) in Normandy PDF added.

Early War Strelkovy Batalon will be next.

EasyArmy24 Sep 2012 7:28 p.m. PST

9/22/12 – Poland Invaded! PDF (Early War Soviet Infantry) added.

9/24/12 – Panzerpionierkompanies PDF updated from v2 to v3.

Pionierkompanie PDF v2 to v3 update should be finished tomorrow – all platoons are updated, but rules and text not up yet. Unfortunately, due to the platoons having new weapons/vehicles added and others removed, I had to delete all the old saved lists of both Panzerpionier and Pioneer PDF companies, or the points and options would not have printed out properly.

New post on EasyArmy.com:

What list can I use this {model name} in?

A while ago I was asked for a way to see what lists a certain model was in. I made a quick function to solve the problem, and hid it under the "Links" tabs. It's still fairly basic, but it does answer your questions! Click on the "Links" tab, and then the "Companies containing a given Arsenal Item" link.

The initial list is a list of all arsenal items in the database sorted by country, then by item name. Note, however, that some appear more than once. This is due to different versions of the vehicle/gun, etc. You'll need to click through to find the one you want. There are also some odds and ends in there such as "-AND-" and "-OR-" that are there to make certain platoons display correctly.

Once you click on an item, you'll get a list of Period, Book/PDF, Company name, and Platoon Name that the item is in. Not a lot of formatting on the output table, but it's functional. There are links at the top of both pages to go back.

You will need to be logged in to use the function.

Enjoy!

Market Garden and Bridge by Bridge lists now available on EasyArmy.com

Grandviewroad12 Mar 2013 8:06 p.m. PST

Any chance of incorporating the new v.3 rules to the gear comments in the MW books? For example adding "breakthrough gun" to 10.5 howitzer, etc.

There are also some special rule changes from the EW pdf that apply to MW.

poiter5015 Mar 2013 7:36 p.m. PST

Additions that cover Anatoli's September Campaign would be good.

Guthroth16 Mar 2013 6:11 a.m. PST

Does the 1939 Soviet infantry co include the updates ?

EasyArmy16 Mar 2013 6:20 p.m. PST

EW updates will be worked on shortly, probably next weekend.

MW – still not sure where it will fit in, or which updates officially will apply to MW guns.

Anatoli's September Campaign – definitely on the list. Have a few other PDF's to catch up on also.

(My fault for having so many source books)

Hazza31B05 Jul 2013 1:52 a.m. PST

Any ETA on the new DDay books?

Gottmituns20505 Jul 2013 3:13 a.m. PST

Yeah, I'd rather pay Gregg two dollars than Battlefront 100 dollars for a pair of books full of errors!

(That and I have no room on my book shelf.)

bob69605 Jul 2013 8:09 a.m. PST

I have already bought the books twice in previous incarnations … I am not buying them a 3rd time.
