I am looking for a nice Greek historian or scholar figure in 28mm to represent Sosylos, the Greek historian that traveled with Hannibal during the second Punic War. This will be used on a command base.

I know Warlord has a box of 'Greek citizens' that could potentially work, but I'm looking for something a bit less generic (and and a little more "stately".

Anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Jonathan

Reaper have a Socrates mini

Gorgon have a Claudius

Foundry have some ancient civilians, possibly something there, or in their Greek Myth range

All of those are great choices, thanks Huscarle!

When I wanted to paint a Greek philosopher-type for a friend who is a professor of classics, I used the guy with the cane and floppy hat in the Warlord Greek citizens set that you mention:

He looks appropriately unconcerned about his appearance, which pretty much describes every college professor and historian that I've known. :)

For a more noble figure, I like that Foundry balding Roman that Huscarle linked to.
