Been stuck for a while in a base in Northwood (postcode HA6 3HP). Got another month here and tired of playing wargames on my laptop… Are there any clubs people know of within easy public transport distance of me? I could always go to my old club in central london but that is 90 minutes from my office (I have a 30 minute walk to northwood tube station) and I typically finish around 7pm.

According to their website Pinner Wargames Club (www.pinnerwargames.org.uk) meets every Wednesday evening from 7pm to 11pm, in the scout hut behind the church of St Edmund the King in Northwood Hills, HA6 1QS.

I'm not sure if that is still current as I've never been a member – their old club night used to clash with training for the kid's football team I coach.

I live in Northwood and wargame occasionally with my brother and a friend. We are off to Colours on Saturday and then going to try to get to grips with I Aint Been Shot Mum on Saturday afternoon if you have any interest in 20mm WWII.

Yes Pinner Wargames Club does still meet every Wednesday; we're just not very good at updating the website.
Pop down next Wednesday and give us a try. What sort of thing are you interested in?

Well, given my current status anything I can borrow the models for? : ) Was enjoying King of the battlefield ( link ) greatly at my old club along with their other multiplayer spectactulars. Also liked a bit of 6mm sci fi.

I will indeed pop down Wednesday, I think the last 1800 brief I have to attend will have died a death Tues so I should be on time… ( Or even a little early depending on wether or not I make the shuttle bus! )

As for stuff at weekend – would love to, sadly I commute back home on Fridays to return Sunday night so aren't around.

1st game under the belt last night, thanks to Mark and his Warmaster Chaos and Undead armies. More to follow, I may even get them to update the website ;-)
