Yes this is a 1988 Citidel Lava dragon I got for a steel back in 2010. I saw him and had to have him. I then bought the dreadlord as I thought he was a suitable rider. The saddle was scratch built from styrene and lead bits from a sprue. The rider can be mounted on his dark steed as well.

Thanks a heap. Those tones were achieved by a black base drybrushed with light grey and then washed with a blue wash.
I wanted him to look black but not look just flat black.

PS he has seen action and fared quite well.
