Grah! Curses! Just placed my latest order during the starship sale, too. Blasted timing.

I wonder if the GZG Y rack from their new NAC power armor guys would work on these?

Also, are there any pictures of the back of the figures? Thanks!

Cool. I had looked through a bunch of the blog posts, but had missed that one. Thanks!

Hadn't though of that … I guess they can be arranged.

Will see what I can do …

Don't stop with the y-racks. Add-on backpacks with huge jump jets, over-the-shoulder heavy weapons, ECM rigs, etc would make cool expansion packs for the basic guys. Maybe a set of right arms with "engineering tools" that could double as melee weapons while you're at it – big gripper claws, power saws, that sort of thing.

Definitely planning more heavy weapon types. I'm not always a fan of the 'huge power claw melee weapon' effect (these aren't Terminators™ after all, and I don't want them to be) but if we could call them engineering tools then that might just be acceptable … grin

AVAMANGO04 Sep 2012 3:01 a.m. PST

I Got mine in the post this morning they are great looking miniatures and they are going to be a real joy to paint, they are very cleanly cast which in my book means they are 'wargamer friendly' ill probably order a few more squads in the near future.

republic of tolworth04 Sep 2012 3:46 a.m. PST

I plan on getting some of these guys. Adding tools would be great, then I can use them as hostile enviro suits for civilians as well.

Moqawama04 Sep 2012 7:05 a.m. PST

Excellent! Very nice models!!

Now, BRING ON THE 15mm NEO-SOVs!!!!!!

Big old gripper claws would give a nice power loader feel – and a rotary cutting saw or borer would be useful in salavge and damage control operations. They look like "spacesuit" power armor already, tricking some out to do combat engineering onboard a starship (friendly or otherwise) wouldn't hurt.

Not like you're adding skulls to them. :)

Not like you're adding skulls to them

If I ever add a skull to any of our SF models, you have permission to take me out the back and hang me noose

StarshipTrooper05 Sep 2012 7:57 a.m. PST

@ Tony Francis…..yes, Y-racks, jump packs and engineering tools, please
