Now you really have my attention!!! Any chance of a stretch goal for additional weapons for the 15mm version (not a huge fan of the sword) or for the 15mm version of the infantry? Jeff |
| McWong73 | 30 Aug 2012 6:30 p.m. PST |
I'm not into the look of these at all, but I admire what they're trying to achieve. |
| NoseGoblin | 30 Aug 2012 7:14 p.m. PST |
If we gain enough backers for these, then I will open up all the weapons options you see for the 28mm as well as the 15mm Mortis! Infantry will have to be post Kickstarter :( |
| John Bear Ross | 30 Aug 2012 7:15 p.m. PST |
Well, you just got my backing for 3 1/100th scale monstrosities. I hope you're happy. ;) Now I have to start designing opponents for these beasties. Best, JBR |
| NoseGoblin | 30 Aug 2012 7:16 p.m. PST |
Thanks John! Fingers crossed we open those weapons up and I can steal a bit more from you :P |
| JRacel | 30 Aug 2012 7:18 p.m. PST |
I vote for John and Mark combining their talents into a new company producing plastic models in 15mm and 28mm. Their combined powers and talent should make all the other companies out there quake in fear. Jeff |

I would definitely be the "weak sister" of that pairing. Mark doesn't need an anchor like me slowing him down. Best, JBR |

Now I want them. Roughly $50 USD for a squad of troops was a little rich for my blood
plus I try to keep away from metals now unless 15mm scale. Seems to be much easier to work with. |

"Now I want them. Roughly $50 USD USD for a squad of troops was a little rich for my blood

Oh STOP IT John! Its not rue and you will inflate my ego, which will make it just that more painful when my girlfriend deflates it. |
| keeper Nilbog | 31 Aug 2012 3:15 a.m. PST |
Interested, though no idea what i'd use it for (i'd go straight for the infantry if availible). Have to see if Colours leaves me any cash – one for $62 USD inc P&P (or 2 at $100 USD) Good job the kickstarter doesn't finish for 2 weeks. |

If/when your going 15mm plastic infantry, will it be the more 15/18mm (Kharushan, Rebel, CMG, etc.) or the smaller 15mm? A good opponent for the 15mm Crusader is the 15mm Mortis
;-) I also noticed that the 15mm Crusader would make a perfect proxy/alternative in size to the GW Nemesis Dreadknight
I think it's larger cousin makes an excellent Imperial Paladin Knight. |
| Mikael | 31 Aug 2012 9:26 a.m. PST |
I want at least one of these, and if you make the mortis- one of those as well. |
| NoseGoblin | 31 Aug 2012 9:27 a.m. PST |
I need to grab up some 15mm models to check what the industry is using for its "true" scale ;) Like GW the listed scale is not often the true scale :) |
| NoseGoblin | 31 Aug 2012 9:29 a.m. PST |
I hope these are popular enough to get the Mortis and all the weapon options in the race
It's up to all of you if that happens or not in this Kickstarter. The more backers, the more I know that there is a strong market. |

Very nice design. Pretty 40kish though and 15 mil is more straight sci fi than gothic. |
| JRacel | 31 Aug 2012 10:54 a.m. PST |
@porfirio rubirosa, While I agree that it has a gothic feel, with the new advanced capacitor coolers and possibly some more ranged weapons instead of the swords, it would look good with forces like SciFi Germans (either Mark's or Eureka Miniatures versions). Overall, it's interesting looking and would be fun to build and paint. Also, if this goes well it could mean a lot more kits in plastic for the future. It looks like TGN picked this up, so hopefully that helps bring in a few more backers. Jeff |

Damn, its GREAT to be a gothic space Nazi in 15mm these days, haha. love it to death
the infantry IS like two bucks a man, but they are multi part and of super high qoulity. and although I think that OPTIONS for hard sci-fi is nice, throwing away the gothic awesomeness would be foolish (and I would hate it) |
| NoseGoblin | 31 Aug 2012 11:32 a.m. PST |
Each faction will have a different aesthetic, so by the time I am done we will have hard sci-fi to gothic covered with three alien races in the mix. |
| deviantsaint | 31 Aug 2012 2:54 p.m. PST |
Would be nice if there was an option to get both the mech and a squad of troops. |
| ski2060 | 31 Aug 2012 3:36 p.m. PST |
You can. All you have to do is put in a pledge amount for the total + shipping if you are international. Then at the end of the kickstarter, a survey will be went out, and you tell DreamForge what items you wanted from the pledge levels that match your total pledge. Edit: Unless your'e talking aboutthe 15mm troopers. those aren't out yet, and will probably not be out for a while. I think Mark mentioned maybe another Kickstarter if there is enough of a demand for the 15mm versions. I know I'd like them made in 15mm! |
| Victor Kravenhoff | 31 Aug 2012 5:30 p.m. PST |
well, he says that 15mm version of the iron core universe is incoming, so it seems not too unlikely. |
| Victor Kravenhoff | 31 Aug 2012 6:45 p.m. PST |
PS: as if it was not already obvious, I would love a full 15mm iron core range. |
| JRacel | 31 Aug 2012 7:15 p.m. PST |
Count me in as well for 15mm Iron Core. |

"The world's first 15mm – 1/100 scale, Injected plastic, science fiction model kit for tabletop gaming!" It's cool and all, but I think Proxie Models would disagree with that claim. |
| Cergorach | 02 Sep 2012 4:13 a.m. PST |
As would Bandai with their 1/100 Gundam kits
The claim that it's for tabletop gaming is like saying, this is the first car made for driving to the beach ;-) That doesn't mean that it's any less cool. Just think of it as marketing

dang, those eiesenkern heavy troopers are freaking awesome looking |
