My parents had a Smithsonian magazine article about this. I loved looking at the pictures. I wrote model companies asking what they did with reject models, after reading parts of this were from model kits. I never ended up doing any modeling myself, but dreamed about this spaceship. (I was a big Star Wars fan before George Lucas beat it out of me much later.) We didn't get to watch much TV, especially on Sunday. I finally got to see the TV show, and was pretty disappointed. Except for the spaceship and the fighters. Even if I thought I saw the same fighter blow up in the same way multiple times. andy |

Yes, very cool model !! I'm still upset, that they auctioned off all the Star Trek ship models to fans … those should have been put in a museum somewhere !!!!!! |
