We played a mega-dungeon crawl last week, set in the dim expanses underneath the Iron Fortress, our campaign's landmark fortress. The game covered a pretty huge area of the table, and the players managed to explore deep into the trackless depths of the Iron Fortress.

And here are a couple of pics to get you started:

Great report! Nice looking game, sounds like fun.

Thanks guys. The recycled mattress was easy to do -- Karl created most of the pieces you see here in less than an hour.

Ditto all the above comments.

Particularly impressed by the foam/mattress use.

Wow, I didn't expect my foam rubber rocks/caverns to get so much praise! For those who want to make their own, I'll have a tutorial up this week or next.

I stole the idea from IronHands/Necromunicon as seen at the bottom of this page:
ironhands.com/bd_rocks.htm
Though I hope that my article will show a bit more step-by-step.

Looks great, and it was a fun read too. We're just starting SBH, and it's cool to see the different directions in which it can be taken.
