Yes…great looking models. This is the way 3D-Printing goes!

Thanks for sharing the images.
A promising range, but far more 'weird Interwars' / (pre-Heresy?) WH40K than steampunk, and certain too 'modern' for VSF (with the possible exception of the tankette?). Probably compatible with Hinterland Hussarettes in WW2 colors, nonetheless.

If you didn't follow the link supplied by Tango01, these are part of a new line / game called Dystopian Legions from Spartan Games.

It does look pretty cool.

Its not fair! Some many great things being made now,not enough money for them all!

I really don't agree that they are too modern. If the Victorians built tanks they would have been working tanks. These are the men that designed and built the SS Great Britain, The Crystal Palace, the Eiffel Tower.

Many of the things they designed and built are with us to this day and look "modern" The Thames Embankment, the London Sewers.

Look at some of the designs for aircraft, like Hensen and Stringfellow. Very "modern" in many respects.

The tankettes are perfect. The rest of the stuff looks too 40k to me.

Falconius25 Aug 2012 1:29 p.m. PST

Maybe if you painted these in a way that almost over emphasize the bolts it would look Victorian.

Seriously though, did Spartan decide to branch into 28mm because they believe it will be a bigger cash cow than the original Dystopian game (which didn't have infantry somehow)? Without Black library like background stories to legitimize the rather flimsy existing fluff these mostly will get used for 40k.

cybrt5426 Aug 2012 6:48 p.m. PST

Not all. As in my case some will be used for GASLIGHT. Especially the tanketts.

I think if they're bought by 40k players they'll make more money tbh!

I am awaiting their prices – to decide how many new heavy metal my armoured Orkmob will get :-)
