galvinm22 Aug 2012 8:09 p.m. PST

That was pretty cool. Even my 17 yo daughter thought it was as good as "So you think you can dance".

Old,outdated minis make fine airsoft targets.At 30 ft even a .22 pellet rifle makes fine artillery simulations amongst the hapless scrap.

spontoon24 Aug 2012 4:56 p.m. PST

@ Warp Speed;

yeah, I've got some units I'd like to do that to! Rout off the board every time!

Charles Besly24 Aug 2012 9:52 p.m. PST

Thankyou for a great laugh!

those brits with woollen berets are 1/32 Airfix Commandos…when I was kind of 5yo my Dad coming home from work brought me a box of them and a box of grey German Landsers…little he knew, back then, what he had started!

:D

I must mention this to him next time I pay him and mom a visit!

tkdguy20 Mar 2013 10:49 p.m. PST

Moqawama-that's what happened to me! Circa '73 -Airfix Commandos and German Infantry….still got them in the shed along with several hundred comrades of varying sorts!

When this came up previously on TMP someone pointed out the music is by a group called Pink Martini. Since then I've become I huge fan of their stuff.

To funny, as someone wrote I made them fight and all they wanted to do was dance. I do need to figure out how to do these videos, I have some ideas.

So that's what those figures in weird poses were doing in Airfix sets – disco dancing!
