Yesterday evening, Greg, Ben and myself had a cracking game of BlitzKreig Commander set during a fictitious engagement between the Afrika Korps and the British in late 1941.

Lovely work on those minis.

Looks good! How did you define the limits of the BUA in the center? Just by the bases of the individual buildings? Or by the outline of the whole lot?

Thanks.

We just use individual buildings, but I could put some felt down and delineate the whole built up area.

Good looking game. I don't base my vehicles. It's my only slightly negative comment. I don't mind so much that you, or others do. I just like to be able to indicate a knocked out vehicle two or three ways. Knocked out, but recoverable (turret slightly displaced). Knocked out completely (smoke plume placed with knocked out vehicle). Knocked out by medium, heavy artillery, or large bomb. (vehicle on side with smoke plume).

Very nice work on those vehicles. I thought they were 10mm before I read, at the end, they were GHQ/Adler.

I used to be the same, then I lost a couple in the rug once – found them with my bare foot later though! Now I base all of them, not just to make losing them harder but to help keep track of what is what. I know a Panther on sight of course, but a ISU-152 vs an SU-152, not so much…

Great looking game.

Nice, but the Caunter colors don't seem to match Mike Starmer's doctrine :)

Thanks, glad you like them.

My A-9 Caunters match the reference I found. which was this one: link

It's a bloody mine-field I tell ya!

Good looking game.

With the difference in command, I'm not too surprised at the outcome. I always think that in BKC, if you are using widely differing command values (ans 10/9 v 8/7 is a big difference) the command cost should be some kind of a multiplier. rather than a fixed value.

Great game.
