Could one play Bolt Action (don't own the rules yet) using 15mm miniatures (individually based) without running into major problems? |

From what I've seen of it, it would work better in 15mm than 28mm. The weapons ranges would be closer to figure scale and it would certainly be a lot cheaper. |

That's what I'm planning to do too. |

Did you consider 20mm/ 1/72 as a compromise? There are a lot of inexpensive plastic products in 1/72. |

@Bede: I already own lots of 15mm stuff (Flames of War
), as do my prospective BA opponents. But hey, starting a new scale/size from time to time ain't a bad move, right? ;-) |

Ill be going down the 15mm route too, ive got a load of "spare" BF stuff, and the main advantage is, is that I can use all my already painted vehicles and terrain. But
If I was starting over, i would go with 20mm. There are some really nice ranges out there. Cheers steve |

You would probably need to individually base the figures, wouldn't you? |

You would probably need to individually base the figures, wouldn't you? Yup, pennies will do just fine. |

The other thing about 1/72 is that if you don't feel like painting there are lots of diecast painted vehicles and tanks available. |

I will going the 1/72 route myself. All my figures are based for Operation World War 2 and Operation Squad. |
