With a brush and paint, yeah, yeah, I got that part. What I'm looking for is suggestions, hopefully with associated images, for a style for my StateEmpire troops? I like the orange of the 'official' color scheme, but I would like to find something maybe more
camo-like? I've looked at modern Chinese camo, and I'm not sure how I'd go about doing that kind of pattern. And for those of you who have gone with the 'official orange', what paints have you found that are close to that? (SF Discussion is still not coming up as a crosspost option

For my Hsian, I used Vallejo 72008 Orange Fire, washed with GW Baal Red (or Carroburg Crimson, now) and highlighted with the base colour and then yellow. As a basic colour scheme, I've gone with: Fatigues: Base Vallejo Model Color (VMC) 70881 Yellow Green; wash with Citadel Wash (CW) Thraka Green; highlight with Yellow Green. Armour: Base VMC 888 Olive Grey; wash with Thraka Green; highlight with Olive Grey, then Olive Grey mixed with VMC 886 Green Grey. Various different regiments get different colours – Celestial Guard are in black armour, Wu Ming and Kuang Shi penal troops are in grey and red, Domaru Butai are in white armour, etc. |

Lots of the Inifinty artwork shows them with lots of glowy bitz on their uniforms. I always thought, if one was to make a miniatures game based on Tron: Legacy, Inifity models would be ideal. Paint them black with lots of glowing flourescent trim.
