15mm miniatures have more detail than this "best" photograph?

Cyclops15 Aug 2012 1:29 p.m. PST

It's a seal.

thosmoss15 Aug 2012 1:51 p.m. PST

I want to believe.

jpattern215 Aug 2012 2:07 p.m. PST

deflatermouse15 Aug 2012 2:44 p.m. PST

It's in 15mm Sci-fi for those of us who want to game that episode from the 3rd Doctor Who.

It was just me.

Doing the back stroke.

This is actually a pretty interesting story with some scientific merit for those interested in the topic:

Its only a model.

The evening news in Philly advertised this as "stunning new photos" of Nessie. "New" I'll give them, but "stunning"? Hardly.

Norman D Landings16 Aug 2012 4:34 a.m. PST

The perfect Nessie photo.

So vague that – whatever your existing preconception of Nessie was – this resembles it.

Eclipsing Binaries16 Aug 2012 4:38 a.m. PST

Looking at the waves, "Nessie" seems to be about two foot long.

Cacique Caribe16 Aug 2012 8:59 a.m. PST

Looks like the arched back of a spawning salmon.

The head should be on the left and the tail on the right (where you see smaller ripples).

Right?

I've camped at Loch Ness and there were thousands of monsters! You spell them M-I-D-G-E-S!

Nessie is not real … A Bigfoot and some Little Grays told me … evil grin

Someone should call Jeremy Wade…:)

Cacique Caribe17 Aug 2012 12:22 p.m. PST

LOL.

But, would he go to Loch Ness? And I think his show has been running behind this season. They keep playing bits from older trips.

I still think it's the top of one of these:

I like the "unhooked" series of his show…

You're probably right about the pic and what they're seeing…Wade's caught some massive fish in fresh water that's for sure.

After watching his show, I'm now refusing to go with my father-in-law fishing up on the river nearby gravel lakes…lol…he and his buddy have seen some massive gators around there!
