Hi PMC317: I went thru the link and saw some awesome paint jobs on the figures you used. Are those 15 or 25mm? It also seems as though you and 'C' didn't use many of the rules in TW that create the force imbalance that many people encountered. What I found strange is that, I'm just reading the rules and many of the missing rules they claimed to have problems with were there in the relevant sections. I actually like what I've read so far and am eager to try them out. They do require lots of markers though or other bookkeeping measures to track relevant condition data on each squad. I also agreed that a QRS is essential for these kinds of rules. I wanted one and I'm only half way through.

If the rules consist of more than 2 pages (one page, front and back), then in my opinion they aren't complete without a QRS providing details of the turn sequence, major rules summaries, weapons ranges and other combat/defense values, etc. (unless those are on separate cards for the units).

Go to Ambush Alley site for QRS tokens and status markers

so, if you unintentionally leave out most of the TW special rules and mechanisms, it actually becomes an enjoyable game…..
just kidding,
very hard to get a handle on a set of rules until you actually know that you are playing it all right
been there
