Beautiful work! What are your sources for the details? This regiment served in Spain with the 7th and 9th Polish, and this might have been the uniform the wore heading to join the French in 1808(?). They probably went over to the French shako later on.

Any plans to do the 7th and 9th?

Damn nice, how long to paint these?

I also have the 5th regiment painted but only one battalion:

Ideally I would like to expand the Polish contingent to a division.

Both units took about 18 hrs to complete.

Really impressive regiment. If they fight as good as they look they will never let you down.
Really like the skirmishers too.

Are you sure about the flags on these? They dont look correct for the period. Additionally you need Polish eagles for them – Front Rank do sell them.

One other thing the mounted officer is a French one; not really a problem but may be a bicorn one would have been more appropriate.

Nice painting but seeing as you are trying to be accurate for the 1812-1814 period I thought I'd be a pedantic git.

Roger,

I have relied on the expertise of others to dictate the fannions for these units (perosnally I don't have any Polish flag references and I am informed that information is not that accurate anyway).

The frog officer has been commandeered into the regiment due to battle attrition (he can of course speak Polish fluently – unlike me).
