One man's "Good" is another man's "Goofy".

A plastic Dark Eldar 'splinter pistol'?
They would make a great bodyguard for TinMan's NOT Barsoomian Princess Livia:

I'm inclined to agree with deflater & abdul, they'd be very suitable for Pulp/Retro Sci-fi, with rayguns and/or more refined blades. They are well sculpted, err, otherwise.

Regards, TC.

Not exactly news though. They were all over TMP a month or so ago.

And they didn't answer my request to make a simple army list for them for aryiki (and those mantis thingys) so psha to them!

I might do some tekumel stuff. The eyes would be interesting items to balance (for another thread…)

Except for the pistols, the SF Blood Vestals look good but *below* their Fantasy sisters

For Barsoom a simple conversion of the Fantasy BV would be more fitting.

Askakal: seem to be a *very small* French enterprise -not an excuse but a possible explanation.

Slender figures that should fit in nicely with the smaller 28mm scale figures from manufacturers like Hasslefree and Red Box. Next to GW they look a little skinny…

Here are some scale comparison pics next to Hasslefree Kalee and a Mantic Elf

A kind (for GW) way to say they are better, more realistically proportioned – in the same way as, among historical ranges, e.g. Minden as compared to Foundry SYW French grin

They are 28mm but, given that women are on the average more petite than men, they would not look 'too small' beside 30mm males.

I painted my Blood Vestals and took some comparison pictures with GW models. Not the greatest paint job ever, but still alright.
