The Decathlete tribe is rumored to have incredible distance in their shots. But, alas, accuracy is lacking and extreme open order skirmish with no shields really lets them down in combat. The good news is that you can identify individuals by their propensity to wear numerals on their clothing :-)

If 'best' is defined as "best clothing" … then what about the Velites from Republican Rome? Those cool headdress made from wolf skin put them over the top in my opinion.
