I recently wrote an article for Project Hougoumont, being the first in a series of articles about the Colours carried by the British Foot Guards at Waterloo (and which may well expand to cover the Colours carried by the King's German Legion). It might be of interest to some of you, and so I provide you with a direct link: PDF link |

Pleasure. You will see mentioned that there is an active Waterloo discussion on Facebook with a wealth of published authors contributing. TMP members are very welcome to join. If you are on Facebook simply search for Project Hougoumont. Thanks |

Articles on the Colours carried by the 3rd Battalion 1st Foot Guards and the 2nd Battalion Coldstream Guards at Waterloo will be published shortly. That on the 2nd Battalion 1st Foot Guards is still being researched. |
