Hi everyone,
You can find in riflemens.blogspot.fr/2012/07/ww1-belgium-troops-les-troupes-belges.html some Peter Pig miniatures like our command stand…

Nice collection. I've always liked WW1 since finding some old books at the Public Library published during the Great War. One book was an account of the campaign in the West from August to about October 1914. It must have been published in November 1914! The text was full of purple prose, but it was full of fantastic photos of the period. If I recall correctly it was published by an American house since the pictures were from all combatants. The book was very pro-Allied-the dastardly Huns, etc, etc, etc. It was so old the book had been re-bound in a shiny blank green cover. Many of the photos were familiar, but about 75% I have never seen again.

Hi rvandusen,
Thanks for your comment, we are always curious regarding the books, even pro-allied or vice-versa…I guess you don't remember the title?
Best,
Phil.

Sadly, I have long forgotten the title. I found it around 1975 but it had been in the library for ages. At least it seems so to a kid

Ok, thanks rvandusen…
Phil.
