I've put the finishing touches to the four machine-gun teams from the Plastic Soldier Company 15mm German Heavy Weapons. Really nice models that are very easy to paint.

Nice looking figs and bases. Seems we have a mutant bug strain too, e.g. the Paypal header on this page. |

Thanks, it did take about three attempts to post this and I thought there may have been a database issue. |

Good work! So far only assembled mine, but they fit together beautifully. PSC really do put a lot of thought into their products. |

My complaint was the pricing. Having to purchase a box of support weapons was okay, but at the same price as a box of 5 vehicles? Now I realize that they will sell far fewer boxes of these thusly having to spread the development charges over fewer sales, but when you think about it, how many potential customers are they sending to the metals folks? The PSC has excellent quality stuff, so if not for that, I'd be looking at other 15mm makers in metal for my support weapons. I thought plastic infantry would be less expensive than their metal bretheren. |

I don't think the pricing is as much of an issue as the sheer convenience of picking up a box with high quality sculpts of SF MG42s, 81mm and 120mm mortars, and more AT stuff than you can shake a hairy stick at, all thought out so you can't go wrong in putting them together, for pocket money

@Dye4minis Nothing wrong with the pricing. The cost is not in the amount of "plastic" The real cost is in setting up the molds and running a batch. So yes with some minor differences the cost of one spure to the other does not vary wildly. I think that it is a very fair price considering the fact that it is made in UK and taxes and labor are big money there and it is hard on the bottom line. PSC owner posts on here I am sure he can chime in if he wants to on the costs per spure. |

yeah. I'm planning on picking up a box of these shortly to go with my flames germans I recently got. |

Price is hardly that bad – one box is the equivalent of at least 3 Platoon blisters of FoW models – and a quick comparison of the price for a German Mortar, Heavy Mortar and HMG platoon blister is £28.00 GBP There may be some extra bits in the FoW sets such as commanders, but you get plenty of spares w PSC. Forged in battle are nearer, at about £21.00 GBP for the same 3 blisters, but thats still a fair whack more expensive |
