I'm 99% sure I'm not the first to consider this, so can anyone confirm the pendraken orcs would mix well with typical 15mm goblins (or other 15mm species)?

The Pendraken line matches my mental image of gobbos – stunted but still fairly heavily armed/armored. Not a big fan of ranges that portray goblins as half-naked gremlins with ginormous ears and 'witchy-poo' noses!

Yes, definitely. The Sand Orcs make great night goblin types and are dead easy to paint.

Do you mean the Night Orcs?

This fella labeled them as Shadow Orcs. But the Sand Orcs do look awesome too:

They should be fine, as they're on the bulkier side of 10mm…! I can send you some samples out if you like, just pop us an email through.

That Goblin comparison is pretty cool CC, I'll have to make a note of that for future use. The ones on the top row have all been replaced with better sculpts though.

Leon,

Believe me, when my work situation gets back to normal, I plan to buy several of your Sand Orcs.

They look awesome, and they belong on a nice, hot and dusty desert world, like this one:

And should be riding hungry reptiles, like this one:

Thanks,

Here you have very close pics of all the orc variations (painted): link

And here you have them next to a 15mm Orc painted in flesh tone: link

The night/sand orcs are interesting, but I was looking first and foremost at the plain jane/vanilla 'orcs'. Blacksmith's pictures really showcase them – hard to believe these guys are 10mm scale!

Mr. Pendraken, I think I'm already sold on them – and will order from the US supplier. Noticed your company also has goblins in actual 15mm scale, was curious how they compare. ..

Thanks all!

I think somebody painted 15mm goblins for the last Pendraken competition. You can find pics in the appropiate thread on the Pendraken forum.

I've not got a comparison pic with the 10mm's, but here's a shot of the 15mm Goblins:

Ordered some sand orcs and normal orcs will be fun to add them to my 15-18mm orc SBH army* as goblins.

*army might be a little to big word for that game wink

@blambi: Hey, as far as I know Ganesha Games is finalizing their SBH-based rules for mass battles! So, I ordered a whole gob of goblins. . .
