Is there a major difference between the Killer Katanas and Killer Katanas II? I just read through the rules (a very good $3 USD bargain), generally like them.. would consider buying the updated version after a play test or two, but want to know if I am buying an enhanced version of the same game, or a different game? Also, I see that standard basing is 4 infantry per stand, but do not see any reason why this is mandatory? Does it change in version II? Planning to mount my infantry on standard magnetic movement trays (mostly two ranks deep). Anyone familiar with the rules that can comment on why this might not work for either version? If I want to order the latest version, best place to buy it? Thanks in advance!! |

Thanks for the heads up
Can anyone explain how the base contact works? i.e. if a base touches all figures on that base can be counted, so the overlaps do not get excluded? What about the rear ranks? How does that impact casualty allocation? For example can you just take casualties off the rear ranks (ala Warhammer Ancients for example) or do the "bases" retain the casualties
Most important, where is the best place to buy KK2?
