Any breakdown of what weapons are in the box? (They look interesting, but the pack size seems a little odd, so it'd help to know how usable they are for other units, and if a platoon needs two sets, or three with lots left over.)

Baron Trapdoor25 Jul 2012 10:05 p.m. PST

Hi Dom
The blister pack comprises of the following items.

Platoon leader
1 x Platoon leader w L85A2
1 x Radio operator w L85A2 / radio

Fireteam A
1 x Section Commander w L85A2 / ACOG
1 x Rifleman w L85A2
1 x Grenadier w L85A2 / ACOG / GL
1 x Automatic Rifleman w L11A01

Fireteam B
1 x Fireteam Leader Section's 2nd in Command (2IC) w L85A2
1 x Rifleman L86A2 LSW
1 x Grenadier w L85A2 / ACOG / GL
1 x Automatic Rifleman w L11A01

Extras
2 x Scouts w L85A2
1 x Sniper asset

If you want a platoon sized unit (2 sections) you will require two blisters

Many apologies, there are 3-4 additional sculpts to the range that were not painted in time for the photoshoot, I will have that rectified asap.

Thanks for the info.

Grammatically it should be British Royal Marines, they are the Royal Marines (RM). Not the Royal British Marines.

Also known as The Royals, those crazy barstewards, bootnecks and various other names by those who have served alongside them.

Where are the little black dresses?!

Rapier Miniatures26 Jul 2012 5:09 a.m. PST

RMD they have those for evening wear, this is the day wear collection.

Many moons ago I was a sea cadet with two lads (brothers….) who were firmly intent on joining the forces. One wound up with 42 Commando, and the other joined the paras – now *that* was a friendly rivalry to behold…. ;-)

hey, at least neiether ended up in the RAF…

Jemima Fawr26 Jul 2012 7:04 a.m. PST

You say that like it's a bad thing. :o)

I've heard that lot are weird….

I used to live in Uxbridge, lets just say my view of the Snowdrops and Rock Apes is somewhat coloured (squadroned!).

Jemima Fawr26 Jul 2012 10:01 a.m. PST

I think the RAF would wholeheartedly agree with you! ;o)

Thanks for the correction Miniatures Rapier, a mere oversight on my behalf.

They look fantastic. Who sells them in Europe?

Baron Trapdoor26 Jul 2012 11:31 p.m. PST

Hi Minesp
We do not currently have a stockist in Europe, however next week we will be implementing a free postage trial worldwide.
I hope it will give customers we cannot reach so easily a good opportunity to acquire some of our goodies.

Great News,
definitively i would acquire some miniatures.
The USMC pack comprises a squad, however in the picture there are only 12 men instead of 13. How many miniatures has actually the USMC pack?
Also, how many miniatures has the Taliban pack?
Any chance to see support weapons in the future?

Regards

Baron Trapdoor28 Jul 2012 6:04 p.m. PST

Hey Minesp
Our packs comprise of 15 miniatures as a rule of thumb, with additional miniatures included for whatever purpose you choose. The Taliban pack included.

The line will continue to grow so support weapons will become an option in the future.
