Not your minis, not the rulebooks, but the stuff – templates, markers, special dice, cards? |

In a dollar store bought pencil box. Seems to fit the bill nicely and I always know where everything is. Well, except my dice. I keep them loose in a false book box on the shelf so no one screws with them when I'm not using them. |

For a while, I kept the following together in a ziploc (tm) freezer bag: -5th edition starter set mini rulebook -templates (blast, lgblast, flamer) -2x red fabric measuring tapes -20x small d6, 3x scatter dice. -whatever most current army list I was using. (Thanks, BattleScribe!) and that bag would go into whatever I was using to transport my figures at the time. |

A wooden box in the den near where we game. It holds dice, rulers, templates, crump markers, "smoke of victory", etc. |

Some just is sat in a pile on a shelf, some is in boxes, some is in backpack pockets, some is in Army Transport pockets, and probably some other various places. |

I have a gaming bag (repurposed laptop bag/mapcase that says "The Hobbit" on it
) that I keep all that stuff in. In one pocket goes the dicebag, mini stapler, erasers, and such, another pocket has the tape measure, I have 1 mechanical pencil, 1 gelpen (which I prefer for RPG character sheets), and 1 regular pen, and in a pocket in the flap that goes over it all I keep the templates. In the main part of the bag goes the gaming books (which I switch out depending on what game I play). This way I won't forget anything too important. There is even a mesh pocket for water bottles too! Damon. |

In the dustiest corner of my basement storage. I use many 40K figures, but I would not play the rules if you paid me. |

I would not play the rules if you paid me. I wouldn't go *that* far, but I would ask for the cash up front. If the rumors this week are true, I won't be buying the starter box this time around, so the older edition "stuff" will stay in the basement with no one new to talk to. |
chromedog | 21 Jul 2012 4:33 a.m. PST |
In a box in the cupboard with the rest of the 40k stuff. Haven't played a game in 6 months or so – and won't be playing 6th ed at all. Although there aren't any "special" dice – they're just 6 siders, common-as-muck. I don't truck with special magic symbol dice. The marines and eldar WILL get repurposed for Tomorrow's War, though. The Grey knights will sit proudly on their shelf hidden behind opaque doors (I started playing them with codex:Daemonhunters because they were cool models, then they redid them and everyone else and their dog was playing them. So I put them aside. |
