Have you attended any of the anniversary events at the Battle of Towton?

My friends at Earlswood put this on at this year's anniversary event

No but I went to the Battle of Tewkesbury reenactment over the weekend.

Do I win a prize?

Fantastic link, Swampster – I heard about that game but hadn't seen a full set of pictures. A masterpiece!

Re the original question, I have been to Towton battlefield but not on Palm Sunday (it often clashes with another event on the UK wargames calendar …)..

Its the one battlefield I'm determined to get to. I don't drive otherwise I'd have been there by now.

Its got me thinking though. I've been to more battlefields in the good old USA than I have in the UK

I have been twice. Towton is a cold windswept place at best on Palm Sunday. A nice day out but probably much the same each year. There is a small indoor section.

The guided walks organised by the Battlefields Trust are usually excellent … link – a great list: they usually charge £5.00 GBP or so to non members (but you may as well take the plunge, join – and help the campaigns to protect, preserve and enhance …)..

I have been to the battlefield at Towton, but not on the anniversary.
