Looks like a great battle, why no write up? What rules are you playing with? Cool pics though. |

No write up because I misplaced my notes. I found them and added some commentary to explain what happened on each turn. We are using the Ager Proelii rules published in MW345. They are meant for the Punic Wars but are working welll enough to give a fun game. Although, other than the figures the fantasy is a little short since there is no magic in the battle. |

You'll enjoy Hostile Realms. Lots of fantasy goodness is wrapped up in them! Thanks, John |

The elves are all from the Demonworld range which is now available from Ral Partha Europe which also has a US distributer. All of the high/wood elves have been released. The dark elf cavalry has not been released yet. John, is Hostile Realms on about the same level as Ager Proelii as far as the level of complexity. Ager Proelli for me, hits a nice balance between detail and fun. Hostile Realms seems to have a lot of additional detail which could weigh it down. Thans, Dante |

Hi Dante. This website of Peters can walk you through things and make it pretty clear what to expect. I think HR can have a lot of extras added to it. However, it can be pretty straight forward. it really depends on what things you want to have present in your game. link Thanks, John |
