Also that "30mm" was all over the place. Some were to the eyes, some to the top of the head…

Well if they'd have sold them for reasonable prices people would have bought them, I always wanted them but just couldn't afford it!

Star Wars licenses are very expensive, so it's no surprise the miniatures were expensive. They have to charge a high price or have a high volume of sales at a lower price to cover the cost of it. It's almost a guaranteed failure for a small volume project. People just aren't going to spend premium prices for figs that they've already got, assuming they have WEG and WotC CMG figs, no matter how good those expensive sculpts are.

Not only Star Wars, but the Marvel items are discontinued as well
