Posted to my blog is an eclectic mix of units, two just painted last week, and two done a decade of more ago, and "enhanced" a bit by an application of "Magic Wash"
Foundry Horse Artillery of the Guard, full dress
and the Perry version in campaign dress
Essex Old Guard Foot Artillery
and some ? Sash and Saber French Line artillery posing as a Young Guard battery. More pictures and information at my blog, as usual: link
That's the very last of the figures painted for Borodino, which runs just nine days from today. Now back to packing it all up for the trip to Fredericksburg! Peter |

Peter, Looking good!! Any respectable French Army should include the Guard Artillery. Best of luck with the game at Fredericksburg, I only wish I could attend. John |

Yes, not the first units to paint to be sure, but especially the Artillerie a Cheval de la Garde – gotta do them eventually. I especially love the over the top uniform of that regiment's trumpeters. "Nothing is too good for my Guard" – Napoleon I Who knows, there is always Historicon 2013

Really nice Peter, I had some of those Essex guard foot artillery, never did finish them. Now fighting somewhere close by in a friends army. |
