Posted to my blog is an eclectic mix of units, two just painted last week, and two done a decade of more ago, and "enhanced" a bit by an application of "Magic Wash"

That's the very last of the figures painted for Borodino, which runs just nine days from today. Now back to packing it all up for the trip to Fredericksburg!

Peter,
Looking good!! Any respectable French Army should include the Guard Artillery.

Best of luck with the game at Fredericksburg, I only wish I could attend.

Yes, not the first units to paint to be sure, but especially the Artillerie a Cheval de la Garde – gotta do them eventually. I especially love the over the top uniform of that regiment's trumpeters.

Who knows, there is always Historicon 2013… site to be determined!

Really nice Peter,
I had some of those Essex guard foot artillery, never did finish them. Now fighting somewhere close by in a friends army.
