I have some OG Jacobite figures, and I would like to get a few more different CHEAP figures in different poses.
Naturally, there are no pictures on the OG site.
Will ECW-39 "Scots Highlanders with assorted weapons" look good as Jacobite riff raff?

OBVIOUSLY, I ain't talking about pikemen. grin

Well, I use ECW highlanders for the '45, so I don't see why not.

Unfortunately this set doesn't have a picture: link

There are two Old Glory web sites. The one to which I referred has the most pictures of the various lines they carry.

Oooh, do get the command set ECW-54. I like the retro look of the one scot (helmet).

Actually, I have a Jacobite collection with extras to give it a look for either '15 or '45. The opposition are dressed accordingly; WSS British or WAS/SYW Brits.

Cheers,

Thanks again, Jim.
I keep forgetting about the "other" Old Glory site that has more pictures.

Hmmmm…
Regarding those funky helmets, maybe, since it will be for Historicon pickup, I can request "all bonnets, no helmets". grin

I use them for my '45 games.

John,

Not sure how they would fit with OG, but for those fans of DAF's Fife & Drum range and Frank Hammond's Minden range, there is a third member of the current Ansell "bespoke range" triad dealing specifically with the '45.

Crann Tara Miniatures, a venture of Graham Cummings using Richard as the sculptor and Griffin for the casting, currently offers 2 groups of 6 highlanders, 1 group in plaid and shirt and 1 group in plaid and jacket. All of the figures have open hands for the assorted weapons that come with them. Graham also indicates that he has Richard scheduled to sculpt appropriate Command, Lowlanders and Royal Ecossais. Very, very nice stuff that could work for a wide time range and various locales. You can check out the details here:

Are these figs available in North America?

Major William Martin RM09 Jul 2012 7:20 p.m. PST

Captain;

You can order them directly from Graham and pay via PayPal. Shouldn't be too big a hassle. The ordering info is down the left margin on his blog.

John,

A friend of mine used the OG15s for Volley and Bayonet for Culloden. Similar figures to the 28mm OGs. I would think that the command, the muskets and the sword and shield guys would work great. Not sure about the bow. Someone more well versed could answer that.

John
