Still, a nice looking unit, nonetheless. I like the paintjobs. |

Thanks for the feedback and compliments guys. I had noticed some issues with the road wheels/suspension (I put the suspension on backwards on the first test model), I had not noticed the issue with the gun barrels before. They are cast that way, so cannot be easily reversed. I love Peter Pig's stuff, but perhaps it is time to try some Skytrex T-55s

Nice paint! There's just something cool about Soviet hardware! |

Fortunately Skytrex provide a reasonably accurate alternative. |

Raul You have done an excellent job on the paint. Sorry for any problems you have had. We did replace the gun barrel a while ago (1 year +). If it does not cause too much damage to your models just let us know and we will send you out the newer gun barrels. Just E-mail us. Tim is right, the gap in the wheels is nearer the front. We will put a better picture on the web site to show this. Let me know if this helps All the best martin at peter pig |

Great to know the barrel has been changed, and I was simply working with old stuff. With all due respect to Skytrex, I am glad to stick with Peter Pig, as I love their stuff

Come now, as quickly as these things died in battle, would they really need a bore evacuator anyway? |

I like the Syrian camo pattern from '73. These look great. Very sharp. Most likely will have burn markers on them after engaging Centurians. |

Hi guys, I like that camo too. I'd like to try to copy it on some of my 6mm stuff. But I'm colour blind, so could someone help me and tell me what the colors are? From my perspective it looks like grey base coat with yellow splotches. Cheers JohnG |

John – I primed them black. I used GW Dark Angels Green as a base, dry brushed GW Catachan Green on as a first layer. I used GW Snakebite Leather as the undercoat for the yellow, and GW Zambesi (sp?) Desert as the main yellow colour. The rest is weathering, using dry brushing and powders. Hope that helps – I am still using a lot of paints from the old GW range, but there are equivalents in the new range – or other great paint ranges, for that matter – which are very close to them. |

Thank you very much Greg. That is exactly the info I need. The paint names are very good for me as I can look them up using the equivelent charts out there. Thanks again, JohnG |
