A) In suits, no helmets, but armed ONLY with the tools at their disposal?

B) And maybe a separate set with helmets on too, but still armed ONLY with tools available to them?

So . . . NO guns. Just space miners armed with drills, pickaxes, wrenches, sledgehammers and other heavy tools for defense. Maybe even some heavy pieces of pipe.

Anyone in the process of making/producing them?

By the way, other than the 1981 movie Outland, and Armageddon in 1998, are there other films or illustrations showing what those miners would look like?

Lots more here: link

Of course . . . the Outland miners didn't have to fight an alien life form with improvised weapons (mining tools), which is really what I think is missing in 15mm.

Those are awesome but they don't look like they could do much to defend themselves with their binoculars and sampling kits.

Drills, pickaxes and other heavy implements in hand would be great. No guns, if possible. I don't think they would have access to them unless they already knew about alien threats.

So looking for space guys armed with improvised weapons like what Willis is holding in this pic:

And here:

And what these other actors have access to here:

And if Ed Harris had been wearing his deep diving suit in this scene from the 1989 film The Abyss, it would have also worked as an example of what I'm after:

GZG do some unarmed vacc-suit wearing chaps that might do the job…

Not much in the way of hammers and drills, could hit opponents with their tool boxes.

LOL. I guess that conversions might be the only way to go for a while.

Thanks,

Dan

Seems to me there's someone with 15mm space suit guys with tools of various sorts, but can't remember who offhand.

I think GZG and RAFM are about your only options.

Pretty easy to make, and add tools made out of styene. You might also be able to convert some firearms to tools as well, with a bit of effort.

The ones with the SAW could be made to look like arc cutters or "laser drills" pretty easily

Critical mass games has Squamata imperialis , engineers or sappers
In boiler suits/ environmental suits with improvised weapons/ spanners/ tools…..although a little short to be humans

RAFM has a few crew types that might work. What you are asking for is rather specific for the bulk of what people game.
