Nope. Not a new RPG about left-handed accountants and analysts. Rather, an inquiry about how you handle the roughly 10% of the human population that is goofy*: Don't – I don't buy minis you assemble, so I gets what I gets. Don't – As in don't care. Special Cases – If there is a historical (or fictional doctrine derived) reason to make a figure sinister, I will. Sometimes – Occasionally I think about it and do it. All the Time – I try to put a few in every dozen figures I make. Retentive – I study the specific demographics of the people whom my minis represent and implement cuddy wifters accordingly. Violently Opposed – Not only do I not keiker out my figures, but I convert any that were sculpted as Molly Dukers into proper right-handed people. What? – Wait
oh, no
wait
what? * – Please note that my information came from somewhere on the Internet, so it is beyond question. |

I did a number of left handed gladiators, as it created an entire new dynamic in my gladiator game. But a number of people who were left handed were forced through military training to adopt right handed drill, so until recent times I would not bother. I have to say as a left hander (previously ambidextrous till the training incident) I have always fired a weapon in my most suitable hand, so normally right handed. |

Hey I saw a brass deflector once in basic :) I have made a few south-paws but not really thinking of it – ie I glued a gun on the left hand in a conversion or two. |

I've made some left-handed conversions, too, as well as ambidextrous individuals, but only in fantasy/sci-fi genres. And, yeah, a few gladiators. I'm still waiting for accurate minis of Paul and Jimi. |

I like having left handed figures, probably your "Sometimes", but would point out through most of history there was very strong pressure on the kippy pawed to conform. x42 |

Speaking of pressure to conform, for anyone who has ever doubted Jimi Hendrix's abilities: Jimi Hendrix was naturally left-handed but his father tried to force him to play right-handed because he believed playing left handed was a sign of the devil. Hendrix took right-handed guitars and restrung them for playing left-handed. Hendrix did continue to write right-handed. Jimi DID learn to play right handed as mandated by his father, he had to play right handed any time his father was around(and left handed, upside down, when his father wasn't around) or risked losing the guitar forever. Once he started making modifications that allowed him to play left handed with the strings in the proper order, he still had to play right handed with the old man nearby, so he also learned to play right handed with the strings upside down. So he could play true right-handed, true left-handed, left-handed upside-down, and right-handed upside-down. Damn! |

It might be a point in single combat like gladitorial or ancient mob but for anyone in ranks, think ya learn to conform ? Can't see shooting southpaw in a shoulder to shoulder line with 2 to 3 ranks deep |

As I understand it, one particular Scottish clan were mostly left-handed. This meant that the spiral staircases in their castles spiralled in the opposite way to everyone else's. |

You do know that only left handed people are in their right mind? |
