Just done one of new Cutting Edge chariots. Detail is amazing. Will go well with Newline, Foundry or dazzling army on their own of course. A must for chariot fans.

Nice job on both the chariot and the base – are you planning to add reins?

I only ask as I have a late Persian command chariot to do and was hoping for something better than my usual black cotton thread! That said my scythed chariots were done that way over 20 years ago and the thread is still hanging in there.

I have made reins by sticking a large label on some tin foil and then painting it brown. Cut out strips the required length about 1mm width and then stick them between the hands of the driver and the horses mouth with pva. Once dry paint over if any of the foil is showing or paint has come off.
