I just posted photos of my first few units of Baccus SYW troops on my blog.

Nice!
I'm playing around with basing my 6mm too. I plan on basing in 3 ranks of either 20 or 24 files which gives me a figure frontage of 100mm or 120mm. Since I want to mount them for use with different rules I will base them on 3 bases to enable formation change to at least column and "square" but they will be on sabots of 120mm x 60mm for ease of movement and to use for Polemos.

Very very nice. I have been doing WSS Baccus on 60 x 30mm bases, but those are very impressive indeed. You are getting the best out of the scale by using massed figures.

Very nice – big units, gives that "horde of bayonets" feel

Well done! I was seriously considering ordering some 6mm Baccus miniatures, and your excellent work has convinced me to do so. Having primarily painted and wargamed in 28mm I think that the 6mm will an interesting change.
