John Blanche is evocative, not good. |

That third tabletop would be a blast to play games on. |

The third tabletop would be difficult to play games on. |

I'm looking forward to my copy arriving. I need some motivation to kick start my painting again. |

I won't be buying the book, but I'm sure it will be packed with pretty pictures. And I'm solidly in the pro-Blanche camp, too. |

While his talent is clear, Blanche is just not my style. Don't like his paintings or his miniatures. |

Never been a fan of Blanche, there are plenty of better GW artists that could have been pit in the book

Blanches art just leaves me cold. It's just too
'sloppy'. |

John Blanche's art is the definitive look of 40K. I think it's fantastic. |

I loves me some John Blanche. While his model painting is "OK" it's his painting and drawing that really blows me away. So cool and SO 40K. w. |

My favorite part is the measely $75.00 USD I paid for what is actually worth double! |
| Ivan DBA | 06 Jul 2012 5:27 p.m. PST |
Even if you like Blanche's work, it is not "beautiful." Personally, I'm not a huge fan if his work, but it has its place, and adds to the 40K atmosphere. |

Mine arrived! (With a big "damaged" sticker on an enormous box, courtesy of the USPS, but the contents were fine
) My favorite part? The built-in bookmark! |

I paid 80 USD. very well spent money. I will game about 3-4 games a month for 3-4 years (until next edition shows up) so for me it is very well spent money compared to rulesets that Ive paid maybe 25 USD for but only played 2-3 times. Cheap or expensive, it is all in the eyes of the beholder. I also like to just sit and browse in the book, look at the pictures and read the fluff. |

Not a fan of Blanche's work. "Sloppy" sums it up best. Are they evocative? If Warhammer 40K is summed up by "Sentinels from the Matrix with skulls," then yes. |

Like many things beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I personally am not a fan of John Blanche's style at all but recognise that many people do like it. Just leaves me cold. I am getting some good vibes about 6th and looking forward to playing it. |
