Can anyone point me to some detailed pics of Castaway Arts figures, especially of their FPW French? I know there are photos on their website, but they are very small pics and not particularly inspiring. Also, what size are Castaway figures? I like my figures on the medium to large end of 28mm. As you can see, I'm really fussy when choosing figures to paint! And Second Empire French (VSF) is a completely new period for me. |

I'd say smaller to medium end of 28mm, height wise you might be OK but they aren't chunky figures. I suppose it depends on what, if anything, you intend mixing them with. Gerry does some really nice work but it's fair to say his later work, like the British and Indian colonial stuff is a world away from earlier releases. Good company to deal with too btw. |

They are close to the Foundry FP in size and some are quite decent. |
