Excellent and did you dry-brush the long grass as well?

Following the growth of your Imperial Roman army tempts me to purchase a copy of Cheesman. Who knows what may follow.

Cheers,
Robert

Beautiful unit.

Beautiful, stunning figures, love the bases too. I prefer to see more grass than less particularly for western europe climate, unlike the sparse scorched earth bases you now see in abundance…

Thanks chaps- I like more grass, too. Those are all tufts, took b****y hours!

Well done Simon – admire your dedication and discipline. I did drag some old figures out and should do what you have been doing – re-touching and re-basing! Very old Minifig Cardaces do look small when compared with todays 28mm!

Thanks all! (hi Mike!)

Garry, it is great pleasure to show a little love to old and/or unloved miniatures. It's like a Toy Hospital around here (anyone else old enough to remember Hoppity?).

Very nice, Simon. Your Romans really do look as though they mean business.
