Since I showcased the upcoming battlemech/security bot a couple of weeks ago, I've been hard at work on something else. Yet another battlesuit. This one is a refinement of my original Bouncer design, and probably a lot closer to the original concept art I generated compared to how the Bouncer turned out. It's still lacking a head, which I've given to the Battlemech, and a shoulder unit. Please note that the lower arm will be cut off at the black line to allow for a hand to be attached. I've kept the extra bit on for now to ease handling during the sculpting process.
Size comparisons with some GW and Infinity miniatures.

These look excellent, I hope they're available for sale before too long |

like it! wish the toes were a little bigger, but that'd be REALLY easy for me to fix when you make 'em
LOVE the blocky-ness of it |

Still not totally sold on the minimech, but I seem to remember saying that about the Pendakar and ordered one from you recently. Definitely buying the new battlesuit, and I will probably buy at least one of those mechs. |

@BigNickR The toes are meant to evoke elephant feet, like a lot of the new Battlemech designs by flyingdebris, so they're small for a reason. Nothing stopping you from biggerising yours when you buy it though ;) @Lion Minimech is more Battlemech, it'll probably look better once it's actually got arms and stuff. Hopefully this time I will finally release my mythical "addon weapons" sprue for everyone to arm their mecha. |

Will the add on weapons fit the pendekar suit? |

@Lardie I'm making an adapter for the Pendekar's forearms so you can attach the underslung weapons to them (which will be most of them). There will likely be a hand-held rifle of some kind for the Battlesuit, and I'm thinking of making the hands have pegs on them to better join up with the arm, so that might not fit without some cutting. Shoulder weapons will go on no problem. |

Any chance of scaling up the Derhaka Skimmer to 15mm or 25mm? |

Zandris IV sorry for taking so long to get back, that's good news, any chance of open hands as option as well for the pendekar? or add on ammo pouches (I know I could do some DIY but I'm lazy) really like the pendekar suit, also like how the new suit is shaping up too. |

@Farstar Maaaaaybe. I've not had much luck sculpting big stuff. Usually end up losing interest before I can finish it. It's an uncommonly popular model in the 6mm range though, and if I had to upscale something, it would probably be the one. @Lardie I haven't figured out how to sculpt open hands, so that is unlikely. I would really like a sort of spread-open palm, but it's not a priority for me. I've decided to scrap the idea of adaptors and I'm just sculpting a variant Pendekar (based on the existing model) which has the necessary structures on its forearms. |

I can see the problem with the hands, as there's a lot of detail there
.. would be nice though. |
