Hey guys, cheers for posting :) I found this site through my blog.

I am hoping to have the beds finished (cast in resin etc) and up for sale in the next 2-3 weeks :) I'll update the blog (or facebook: Grekwood Miniatures) when they are on the website :)

Thanks again for the comments!

Hi Bob! lol I'm not sure why they wear hats, maybe they were at a hat store? From a sculpting point of view, a hand is much easier to sculpt if it is holding something, and sometimes makes a more interesting figure. That's just my thought though..and experience :)

Cheers Armand! And thank you for posting it on here :)

Awesome work!

Would it be easier to cast them (the bed rails) as seperate pieces like these? That way they are not so much bars but a single piece.

Cheers for the pic Haywire. I just replied to your comment on my blog :) I shall go with the solid side panels rather than bars!

As to why zombie's holding things, it goes to the spark of their former life where they go back to doing what they did before, and go where they used to go (like the mall). Sometimes they also grab something and then never consider putting it down until there is something else to grab. Someone at work gave me a calendar about zombies and this month's story is about some survivors coming across a zombie using a log to hit a door. The zombies are starting to adapt and problem solve. A bad sign for everyone.
