Greetings Fellow Knights I have finally embraced the video age and posted my first two videos on the Day of Battle website. They are short, each running around one minute. They are the setups of both sides for a game I ran at Havoc in Shrewsbury Mass, this spring (2012, The Battle of Legnano). I supplied ample notes under the first video but very few on the second. I hope to post more of the same battle soon as well as other educational videos to help interested players learn more about the game. Here is a link to the page on the Day of Battle website. dayofbattle.com/Videos.html Regards Chris Parker |

Great start. A good looking blonde introducing your videos always helps! |

So perhaps the girl that was in that great comic strip in the 80's, Snarfquest wasn't it? Boy how did I get down this path of conversation. Oh well. |

I checked these out. I like video presentations. Please do some that explain things, show a game in action etc. I am interested. Thanks, John |

John That is my intentions. This was just a test for experience. I plan on starting out with one on basing then leaders, combat etc. Thank you for taking the time to look at them and responding, it means a lot to me. Chris |

I've posted two more short videos. By short I mean under two minutes. The first shows personality bases and the second shows how units are based. Please remember in mind I'm not a video producer I just play one on YouTube :) |

Hey Chris. I liked the 2 new videos. Definitely an improvement of the first two. Now, you're grabbing my interest. I have a decent amount of 1/72 Medieval figs painted up and based on 40x40mm stands. I need to find out more about your mechanics. Thanks, John |

John Glad you found them of help. This week I plan on doing a short one on the command system and another on how to create your leader and (summon) your army. Thanks Chris PS I have 35 Armies (Domains) done and in the edit stage including Feudal samurai. |

Incidently I have posted a small write up of a game played this weekend. No pictures but it will lend a little more insight. Crusaders vs. Scots, always a good matchup :) It is on the Day of Battle Forum. I present a direct link for you. link Chris |

I have posted 5 instructional videos on the website ( dayofbattle.com ) . These deal with creating your Warlord, Proximity Movement and the Command Card and Command Point systems. I was going to start another thread announcing them but didn't want the wrath of many coming down on me. They are on the main page not in video page. These are rough and folksy, I hope they help.
