I always like the 'adjective' type names – HMAS Indefatigable, HMAS Pugnacious, etc, etc – have that proper Victorian grammatical feel

I like the sound of HMS Perfidious, but I'd be afraid of what the crew would be like on such a ship! Perhaps it could be named so because it was once an enemy vessel that had defected? Or a spy ship, being deceitful. See, I'm even providing backstory! :-) |
