Just finished this terrain tile. Not sure if I need more junk or not. Think I'm going to leave it as-is and move on to the next tile.

If you want the option of more junk just make some stand alone junk heaps. These can then be used in your junkyard or on their own. -Eli |

move on. it is terrain. if it needs to be modified, add a junked car or two as needed. but from a stack of spare junked cars you should have for riots and such. Leaving the option for it to be open lets you use it in more situations. |

More Junk! Heaps of it that can be used as cover. |

Leave as is and just increase the cover bonus for anyone in the junk yard. |

Thanks guys! I like the modular junk heaps/trashed cards idea. Thanks Eli/Big Nick for that idea. After this and the park tile, I now need to focus on completing more tiles that will hold actual buildings. Only have two of those thus far and need about 4-5 more to house a bunch of Jason's junction box buildings I picked up. |

do housing at different "income levels" like maybe some corkboard "adobee" with cardboard "sheetmetal" roofs for near this junk heap, and work your way to nicer buildings the further you get from the dump, just like in a real city cork walls: link |

If it's going to be a diorama, could use a bit more junk. If you are planning on actually using it in a game, I'd say leave it as-is. Too many fixed items and you can't put any figures in it. Alternatively, you could have half a dozen pieces of loose junk that could be repositioned as needed
depending on the rule set you are using, anyone in the junk yard gets a fixed cover bonus, and the added bits of junk could just be there for added appearance – move them as needed to make room for figures moving through the yard. Overall, very nice work. |

In a different scale I did this as a scrap yard terrain piece:
link link I thought it was a good compromise for junk versus playablility (the wire mesh fencing was separate rather than built in but the edge of the terrain piece is visible in the shots) so yours looks about right, I'd say: just enough room to get the figures in amongst the terrain. John T |
