I would. grin

Buying Pershings that first saw action in April 1945 seems to me a waste.
Now, I KNOW that I can do it myself, but a RSWS supplement would result in more cool models being produced, so I am for it.

Why not Korea? Not hypothetical that way, and all they would need to do is some North Korean and Chinese infantry since the vast majority of the equipment would be Late WWII Soviet and American vintage.

Historicalgamer12 Jun 2012 11:46 a.m. PST

No

kallman12 Jun 2012 11:56 a.m. PST

Yes I been wanting to do Operation Unthinkable for some time now.

indierockclimber12 Jun 2012 12:19 p.m. PST

Why not? I played the heck out of Patton in Flames.

Garand12 Jun 2012 12:24 p.m. PST

No. But a Korea expansion wouldn't be out of order. You could even include more "advanced" tanks for "what if" scenarios too (like if the Chinese decided to use JS-2s in-theater)…

Damon.

I'm not a fan of FoW. But gaming what if games set in this period could be fun. As OFM said, a good excuse for some cool new stuff.

Mako1112 Jun 2012 1:27 p.m. PST

"Now THAT's a mantlet"!

AND a Tank!!!

I'm not into the FoW rules, so no.

I would buy some T-28's though.

Chef Lackey Rich Fezian12 Jun 2012 1:44 p.m. PST

Would I buy the rules? No. Woud I buy minis that they'd need to make for the rules, including early post-war stuff and Korean era designs? Hell, yes.

I don't see why they couldn't do both RSWS and Korea.

Yes. Tied to a Korea supplement would be best.

cbaxter12 Jun 2012 2:55 p.m. PST

i am all for modern FoW expansions one day. But I agree why not do Korea instead.

jameshammyhamilton12 Jun 2012 4:24 p.m. PST

It would be a small rule book. They already wrote the entire campaign when they released the "Pacific War Rules". You just need a 1/144 B-29…

"30 Seconds Over Moscow"

Seriously, though. Why would they need a rule book when you've already got the ability to game it out as is. What you're really asking for is the release of "Late War Monsters" minis.

YES YES YES

Jakar Nilson12 Jun 2012 8:24 p.m. PST

Yes. Anyone else sick of having nothing but Shermans?

VonBurge12 Jun 2012 8:49 p.m. PST

I'm sworn to buy anything BF prints for FoW.

It will be a great read with some lovely pictures I'm sure. I don't game with 75% of the rules stuff I buy anyway…so sure!!!

Jovian112 Jun 2012 8:53 p.m. PST

I'd prefer to see a "late war monsters" book – showing off the T-28, as well as other strangeness from the late war and hypothetical vehicles which were in development.

Korea would be a cool new venue as well. Heck, they did the Vietnam supplement, so why not a Korea supplement.

Wyatt the Odd Fezian12 Jun 2012 10:55 p.m. PST

Jovian -

While it would make perfect sense for them to have gone with Korea, I think the Vietnam scenario allowed them to test the market and only required something like 10-12 sets of vehicles and figures to complete a game.

Korea ? yes, Yes YEs YES !!!

Not so keen on RSWS though.

Patrick Sexton Supporting Member of TMP13 Jun 2012 7:13 a.m. PST

Yes.

Waco Joe13 Jun 2012 8:24 a.m. PST

Probably, depends on how much new equipment they can throw in.

Lion in the Stars13 Jun 2012 1:11 p.m. PST

What you're really asking for is the release of "Late War Monsters" minis.
"Late-War Leviathans" if you want to keep the alliteration.

And yes, I would totally buy either a Korea or RSWS book. Or both.

lcannard14 Jun 2012 4:53 a.m. PST

I would possibly, depending on how much German stuff is in it.

X7 Knight15 Jun 2012 10:14 a.m. PST

Yes. and even more quickly if it was for Korea. You bet!
