Worrying – he was around 2 weeks ago – he's doing six moulds for me. The invoice doesn't have a phone number on it.

Well I know he was ill according to his email a couple of weeks ago and he sent me a note saying some moulds would arrive last Thursday. They have not and now I am concerned something has happened to him or the moulds.

Isn't Pete of the Mouldmaker the same Pete that is one of the Frothers forum moderators? He is on there everyday. And if it is he is also the Assault Groups molder and part of that company too.

GarrisonMiniatures12 Jun 2012 10:07 a.m. PST

He emailed me on the 29th saying he would be making my moulds and I should get them last week – no show. Certainly email gave no signs of any problems, but why is his site down and phone apparently disconnected/not known?

GarrisonMiniatures12 Jun 2012 10:09 a.m. PST

Assault Group address seems to be next door to Pete, so probably is.

Pete is indeed alive and well and has been in touch. Seems events have been conspiring against him….as is life sometimes.

Or, in full:

'Sorry to be out of contact, I have been having problems with the sites
server, and this lead to a loss of email… I was told that things were
resolved last week but when I go back to work this week I found that I have
the site is still not online…

I have just returned to the office from the England Game in Ukraine, I won a
ticket in a competition with Orange and was informed at very late notice…

I will get to you moulding this week.'

So everything fine and back to normal.

Huge sigh of relief…..

Hi Chaps

Thank you for the concern, yep the site fell over last Wednesday and with it i loss email routing for a while.

When i spoke to the hosts on Friday i had been told everything was up and running but now i have email but no site, so how know how long it'll remain off-line.

This coincided with me getting tickets to fly to Ukraine to watch the England game, so I've been out of the office for the start of the week.

Hopefully you will have had emails from me now (i know you have Craig), so i know the system is working again now.
