g if they are in the process of painting them. I didn't get into this hobby for the game. I got into it for the spectacle. The game is the least important part. |

In 40+ years in the hobby have never played in agame with unpainted figures that I can recall. I'd probably be willing to do it once or twice with a new gamer or another guy starting new period, but at this point I have literally some 10,000+ troops of my own, so I'd probably just proxy with something else
painted! :-) |

It doesn't really matter to me. I paint and play but do not discriminate against some one that doesn't. |

B. It's the person I'm playing against; as long as they aren't "unpainted"!!!!! |

For me it is all about the venue. I wouldn't take an unpainted army out in public (i.e. game store, convention ect) but I would play with it on somebody's kitchen table. If I was only willing to play with painted guys then I would never end up playing a game (I'm somewhat slow and get easily distracted by some other project). But I have no issue playing against somebody with an unpainted army, and have done it on a number of occasions. |

Depends on the context. If they are peripheral to the simulation (ie being used as game markers/counters as in Risk) then I'm not bothered, but in a conventional figures game I would provide both sides rather than play with unpainted stuff. |
